You can permanently delete your Gather account and all associated data directly from the app. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and what is retained.
How to delete your account
Open the Gather app on your device.
Tap the Account tab (bottom right).
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
Read the confirmation prompt and tap Delete Account again to confirm.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Have a Gather+ subscription? Deleting your account removes your Gather data but does not automatically cancel your App Store subscription. To stop billing, cancel your subscription separately in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions before or after deleting your account.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
Your profile — name, phone number, email address, city, and preferences
Gatherings you hosted and all associated invites
Messages you sent in gathering group chats
Your friend connections and any pending requests
Your Google Calendar connection and all synced free/busy data
Your push notification token
Your subscription record and purchase history within Gather
What is retained
After deletion, a minimal anonymized record (your account ID and the date of deletion) may be retained for up to 90 days for fraud prevention and legal compliance purposes. This record contains no personal identifiers such as your name, phone number, or email address.
Can't access the app?
If you're unable to sign in to request deletion from within the app, email us at privacy@gather-any.day with your phone number or email address and we'll delete your account manually within 30 days.
